June 6th - WISD Board of Trustees Meeting, WISD Administration Building; WHS Lady Indians recognized for soccer season and playoff success for 2015-2016 school year; 6:00 pm (be there ar 5:45 and wear shorts and your playoff t-shirt)
June 6th - WHS Cross Country summer runs begin, Waxahachie's Getzendaner Park, every morning beginning @ 7:00 am by the starting marker. ANYONE attending WHS in the Fall may participate. Whether it be to compete on the team in the Fall or just to stay in shape during the summer months, ALL are welcome to attend. Coach De La Cruz (WHS Men's XC coach) holds these workouts daily. Stay in shape and run with others at WHS!
June 13-16 - Waxahachie Lady Indian 13th Annual Soccer Camp, held at Waxahachie's Lumpkin's Stadium. Sessions will be held Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm by the current WHS Lady Indian coaching staff and former players. Last years camp had over 100 campersand this year seems to be as large. To register after June 6th call/text Coach Venable at 214/577-9254 or email him at email@example.com to assure you can still receive a camp shirt. Walk ups are welcome the 13th beginning at 8:45 am at the stadium, but a camp t-shirt cannot be guaranteed. Campers need to bring a ball, water, guards, and appropriate soccer shoes/gear. WISD STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING CAMP; 7th-9th grade 2:00-3:00 pm; 10th-12th grade 3:00-4:00pm; FREE to all WISD athletes entering grades 7th-12th. ADVANCED training for high school athletes 9:00-11:00 am daily. Mut have a current physical on file to participate, all sessiosn in the WHS weight room / stadum turf
