December 27th, 2011, after a 7 year absence, the WHS Soccer program held what will hopefullt become an annual event again, the WHS Soccer ALUMNI GAME. With over 50 former players in attendance both current and former player had the opportunity to show off their love for the game and show the community how far soccer has come in the town of Waxahachie. Anyone wanting to participate in future games in late December please let Coach Venable know and spread to anybody who once played in the this program and have made it what it has become today.
The night was a blast and the opportunity to visit and catch up or flash back to our playing/coaching days was awesome. I look forward to this being a tradition we can continue for years to come.

This years Alumni teams were split into two co-ed teams named for our past players and fallen soldiers:
Team Dervishi and Team Ramirez
Both young men were recognized and the idea to recognize both for what they did to help preserve our freedom was very fitting.
PFC Ervin Dervishi and PFC Joel Ramirez are our heroes and will never be forgotten. God Bless their families and their childrens/sisters/brothers for their service to our country. You will always be a proud member of our program here at Waxahachie High School
